@Twistx77 Focus is manual in video recording. You can autofocus in live view before starting video recording but not during actual video recording, where you manually focus with the focus ring.
In his video, the exposure wasn't locked, which would explain the erratic exposure compensation and the clarity of the image, if that's what you were noticing. Exposure is automatic but you can and would probably want to often lock it.

Is it beacuse you have the focus locked or does it take that long to focus in video mode?

@Twistx77 Hey, the focus when taking a video does take a while but when it is stabilized it looks nice.
