Mediator and Public Policy

The Vermont Law school Dispute Resolution Program hosted a 30 year anniversary conference, The Mediator and Public Policy, exploring the controversy, current status, and future prospects of mediation in the public arena. The conference brought together John P. McCrory, Pepperdine University School of Law, Joseph B. Stulberg, Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, and Lawrence E. Susskind, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, authors of three seminal articles, published in the Vermont Law Review in 1981, that launched a nationwide discussion on the role of mediation in public conflicts.
