Loom Knit Lab: Working with Ruffle Style Yarn

Working with ruffle style yarn on a knitting loom. Two methods provided.

I have recently had the opportunity to work with the very popular Red Heart Shashay yarn. It is very similar to the yarn I am using in this video, except the crochet netting is smaller (tighter). If knitting with the Red Heart Shashay yarn, I would recommend using every other other--skip one, place the other on the peg, skip one, place the other on the peg. It would be a bit easier to stretch the yarn to the opposite side of the loom.

@libra74677 I am using the Knifty Knitter purple knitting board. Any other knitting board will work for the pattern.

To add another skein, I would simply lay the new loops of the new skein on top of the loops of the old skein, then I could treat both loops as one loop.

Thank you for this video, I have been waiting for you to make it. I tried to knit with this yarn on knitting needles and it just took to long. Since this video I have made two of them and on my third one now. Thanks again. Love your video's.
