"Back Seat of a Greyhound Bus" by Sara Evans

EDIT: I do not own this song or any of the pictures in this video. Also, when the song says "she fell in love on the backseat of a greyhound bus" it's saying that she fell in love with her baby NOT meeting some guy and having sex in the backseat. Honestly, who would do that if there are people on the bus? Also, Sara Evans did not get pregnant on the backseat of greyhound and is not singing about an event that happened to her.

Meaning: A girl who once had big dreams is now leaving her home because she got pregnant. "On the backseat of a Greyhound bus/Head on down with the windows up/ Starin' at the rest of her life." Though through her trip she realizes the baby is what she wanted and she's happy about it "The baby came on the Interstate/Somewhere between Jackson and Memphis/ She finally found what she had been missin'/ She cried and laughed, while the red lights flashed."

  • I want to say that NO she did not get knocked up on the backseat of a Greyhound. When she's says that she fell in love on the backseat of a greyhound bus she's talking about how she fell in love with her baby. She left because people probably ridiculed her.

Oh and this isn't even about Sara Evans either, she is just singing the song not reporting a real life event for her.

  • Wow.Your all a tad bit slow. The song is about her pregnant traveling on a Greyhound bus and then going into labor and giving birth in the back of the bus.SHe talks about finding what she had been missing..the love of a child. Her finding, love, saving grace and everything she ever wanted was when she saw her baby girl after giving birth to her in the back of the bus. That's what the songs about.
