  • it totally sounds like he was born and raised in east texas....i went to college in Nacogdoches so I definitely have heard it all. haha.

  • @Trevortbye We were both born in CA but moved to TX when I was 9 and he was an infant =)

  • georgians and texans sound EXACTLY the same. bc georgians populated texas way back when

  • @Rachulie I don't think they sound exactly the same but there are definitely similarities. In my opinion, Georgian accents are 'softer' and Texan accents are more nasally (this is especially noticable in female speakers).

  • man im german and i'd love to master the texan accent, for example when a true texan says something like "Whad goin' on in here" i crack up EVERY TIME

  • @lumpyman100 thats cool. i never knew about the ga tx thing til lately. thats why we sound the same. everyone always asks if im from tx but idk if that's just cuz they dont know any other southern states ha

  • @eaglesgogirl I am from East Texas as well and when I went to Denver , Colorado one year I had several people ask me if I was Australian. I thought it was kind of crazy!
