I was born in California, raised in Texas.
Sometimes I can't help but speak in an accent XDD
and the thing is, I'm Asian. So many people find me odd xP

man im german and i'd love to master the texan accent, for example when a true texan says something like "Whad goin' on in here" i crack up EVERY TIME

@eaglesgogirl I am from East Texas as well and when I went to Denver , Colorado one year I had several people ask me if I was Australian. I thought it was kind of crazy!

@JoyousinJesus Well, that would be a difference in dialect, I think. But still the same general accent.
it totally sounds like he was born and raised in east texas....i went to college in Nacogdoches so I definitely have heard it all. haha.

georgians and texans sound EXACTLY the same. bc georgians populated texas way back when

@Rachulie I don't think they sound exactly the same but there are definitely similarities. In my opinion, Georgian accents are 'softer' and Texan accents are more nasally (this is especially noticable in female speakers).
