my cat could care less what this mockingbird seems to be protecting. Really, it's funny, the cat just has to be present and both birds will divebomb him, he'll just twitch slightly is all.

  • Very funny. Cats really do not rule, or are so unconcerned that this bird made no lasting impression.

  • Yeah, tree swallows too, and they dart right behind your ear

  • Mockingbirds and Catbirds are frigging hysterical. They like to dive-bomb you if you get too close to their nests.

The funny thing to do when they try to do that is turn around right when they're in mid-dive. They go all "HOSNAP!" and do this complicated aerial maneuver to get away from your stare, and then land on a tree or something to glare at you from. ^^

Way too much fun to do.

  • He's counting coup.

  • LMFAO, a physcotic bird that dive bombs a cat and doesnt know when to quit, and a lazy cat that just sits there and licks it butt while attacked XD thats great

  • Haha, your cat really doesn't care at all.

And I must say, your mocking birds sounds less annoying than the ones by me. o_O

  • Because it's got a family nearby, and it's trying to chase the cat away. Fortunately, the cat doesn't seem to be interested, so I guess the baby birds are safe. :)

  • Why is that bird hatin' so much?
