There isn't any difference between them, except for the fact that Software Sources is a neat graphical way to configure your software sources instead of editing the sources.list file manually ;) All sources you add in Software Sources are put into the sources.list file.

lol I know. Now I know how to install repository's in ubuntu. So easy . I like using Software Sources than editing software sources than doing it manually. But what's the difference between both?

GUI is Graphical User Interface, KDE is a wordplay on an existing "Common Desktop Environment". Gnome is GNU Network Object Model Environment. :)
