Yes, it's an Athearn and I believe there is a moter with a 'rubber band' type belt that turns the rotary plow - I had the triain going very slow and this is the resulting effect.

Funny thing about the snow-blower, is that UP still brings them out for the Donner Summit pass in California.

Yes they are big. Now you have be wanting to rebuild my HO UP Snow Blower and now that I am DCC equipped I will have it operational with the chip.
