From The Port Townsend Library media room, 10-year-old Kidreporter Brennan LaBrie gives a brief tour around the body of the Canon FS200 Flash based camcorder.

Battery Stats:
Max recording: 205-210 minutes
Typical recording: 100-105 minutes (start/stop)
Playback: 290-295 minutes

Battery Charging Time
140 minutes (with camcorder)

NOTE: On a totally depleted battery, a 20 minute charge will produce 60 minutes of recording time.

This video was shot with a Canon FS200:

Auto mode: Focus, WB

Editing Software: Windows Movie Maker
File: WMV (3.1 mbps)

NOTE: FS200 requires SD cards with 128MB of memory or more.

  • Was this entire video shot with the Fs200 because in between it looks like a HD camera

  • @castlevaniacrazy5 The entire video was shot with the Canon FS200. I have never posted a HD vid and do not own a HD cam. HD requires a bigger faster PC, larger hard drive and lots more time waiting for the vid to upload to YT.

  • @castlevaniacrazy5 Yes but why at 0:22 does the audio get better and at 2:04 it gets worse?

  • @castlevaniacrazy5 the internal mic on the FS200 was used. the distance from the mic in front of the camera changed and therefore the audio level changed. at the time, we did not have a lavalier microphone

    i have FS305...it saves in MPEG2 format...i want to import it in after effects...

    how wud i do that...i mean wich is the best convertor...???
