  • I needed to fashion a hangar for the cage as it didn't include one. A bit of wire pushed through a slot and hung over a frame did the trick. The queen was released by the workers without issue.

  • Thanks for posting, I think I'm getting the same bees as they also should use that plastic queen cage. Did you find anything to note about using the new plastic cage? Best of luck with your bees ... mine come next week!
