  • it makes me really happy to see that our cultures have this great connection with music. To see a performance like this is really an honour. Matthaios' skills are from another universe. Good job on sharing videos like these.

  • @MrBulbul thank you for your kind words, all the best to you too

  • More videos to come in the future. Thank you for your kind words.

  • Personally i think this video demonstrates only a glimpse of this man's prospectives. Though it is surely 9 minutes of pure advanced performance.

  • LOL, nai

  • Xaxa , apolayste to :)

  • Yes it's really a wonderful music improvisation by Matthaios! He's really the best Pontian (Greek) Lyra (in Turkish ... kemence) musician player.

  • cry lyra cry!!

  • @kyrpalas my dear it's not ONLY IN TURKISH Kemence ..... AND WE THE PONTIACS use to call Kemence the lyra ..... !!! Not only you......!Many of yours and ours words are based in the same alphabet ! And yes i agree but the now unfortunatly dead Gogos Petridis (the Master of kemence as we used to call him) is much better....but Matthaios is the best in his season....and i think there will be no better than him and Gogos
