Story behind this video:

Hey Everyone,

Actually I was really curious about the experiences of Mick Gravee and the history of Roland. I'm using Roland electronic drums for ten years now and I never knew the very first drumkits (until now of course!). Let me tell you something about myself and the Roland products;
When I was about 8 years old I was drumming a lot on my acoustic drumkit, but one of my neighbors was always sleeping during daytime because he had to work during the night. So my practicing time was very limited, about 45 minutes a day. I wanted to drum more and saw an electronic drumkit in a drum shop. I visited this drum shop almost every day to play a bit on that drumset and to look at it. Eventually my parents bought the drumset (TD-6K) and I had a huge amount of fun with it! I could practice much more and I was the happiest kid on the planet back then!! :)
So that's why I wanted to know something more about Roland!

The second thing I wanted to know are the experiences of Mick Gravee. Last year he participated at the V-drums Contest and I just wanted to ask him a lot of questions about the whole contest. In a couple of months (April, 2013) I'm going to Frankfurt to perform on this year's contest, so that will be really exciting for me. I want to thank Mick for sharing his experiences and tips with me!
So.... that was the "story behind this video"!
I hope you enjoy the videos of my blog (and if you do please post some comments) and as always; thanks for watching!!

By the way: I've made an extra blog video with a little Tour through Roland CE! This is the link: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Q3QVwYZlFbo
