  • do you work with any program for natural motion? or u make the animations only in 3ds max?

  • @dudaskate its all handkeyed in max, dont use any procedural stuff, thanks for watching

  • btw is it possible to import a default biped rig into CAT? because i only used biped before and it would save alot of times not having to re-rig them with CAT again

  • @harry781012 hmmm, what do you mean by import into CAT? do you mean youve skinned creatures to biped bones, but you want to control them now with CAT rig? If you really wanted, you could just do the same method as Im doing here, but with your skinned biped instead of the Valve bones?

  • You can have as long video as you want if its under the size limit, there are videos that are 400 hours long.

  • @Knife138 They aren't called footsteps, but yes, it generates a pre-made walk cycle for you, and you can even edit the parameters on it to personalize the walk instead of having to hand key it all.

  • How come all the geniuses i know are british?

  • for some reason when I try to animate it only allows 1 keyframe, i can't add any more for some reason

  • THANKYOU

  • I'm still new to this CAT thing. I noticed when I clicked on CATParent, under CATRig Load Save, there's one labeled "None" and I got that arrow platform, assuming that's the CAT platform. Can I "connect" my already-made biped to that CAT platform?

And, also, major question, the major thing about CAT is... will it animate the footsteps FOR you? I hate animating footsteps manually (because I suck at it) and the "Footsteps" function is hard to work with.

  • I got a question. Let's say I ALREADY created a Biped and fully rigged it to a character model. Is it possible to CAT that already-made biped? If so, how? Explain in very deep details.

  • give this to wendyvaintiy
