The Deviant

short film.

Asphyxiated in his comfort zone, an adolescent filled with rage and dissatisfaction decides to overcome his dread and angst of his strict society. Gathering his guts and wanting to live his truth without disguise, he takes off his mask, breaking the societal norms and risking his life. He chose to be a rebel, utterly aware that this very act of his might just cost him his own life.

Remember Electroma Daft Punk, where in a society of robots, there are two in particular who would like to be human, so they are driven away from each city. Eventually the two robot friends, understand that not only can never be and become humans, but that is useless to continue to exist that way. Sad because they can realize their dreams, and bewildered by the fact that their fellow hate them for this, the two robots at the end have no choice but to commit suicide in the desert.
