I am an American just like you are! The only difference between us is our skin color. Yes, African AMERICANS did suffer during slavery, but like my ancestors we had a hard time when we first came to this country as well. Now I do agree with you on how cruel and unfair racism is. I am glad someone is acknowledging the accomplishment of blacks. There is not comparison between what whites have suffered and what blacks have suffered. Black Americans lost their nationalities and languages when they came to America and White came here on their own accord. No comparison and blacks have every right to be defensive on issues regarding race. Whites on the other hand need to just get fucking over it.
