The Cracked Kettle Beer Shop Amsterdam

In Amsterdam there is a great beer and wine shop called the 'Cracked Kettle' located near the singel canal and across from the Belgium Beer cafe 'Gollem'. It has about 450 specialty beers, some pretty nice wines and even locally distilled Jenever. You'll also find westvleteren, Pannepot, dubbles tripels and many other select beers, wines and spirits hand crafted by independent producers.

I stumbled upon this shop one night while tripping on some of the mushroom truffles and I was amazed at the variety they had. There was almost nothing that I had ever seen before and I have quite the beer experience. This is a place that is a must visit while in amsterdam

@williramone Trust me i'm doing beer tastings for past 6 years now and had over 1000 different beers , mostly belgian , but also dutch, american ,english , scandinavian , and trust me we as belgian people can learn allot about their brewing methods ... belgian beer is good very good , but we're not the best , and if you haven't got past jupiler , duvel or trappist than please don't say belgium is best beer country ... we can be proud , but we can't be cocky !

BTW if i was you try to search some beers from following Holland brewerys : De Molen , Emillisse , 'T IJ , Koningshoeven , Hertof Jan ... You'll be amased at how good these beers are , especially the first 2 , AND I'M BELGIAN !!! so i know what i'm talking about ...
