It's not just about transport-it is about ruining a fantastic area for cycling, wildlife and ecology.
People use this area for walking and jogging too.
Why don't we just a put a motorway through every forest in England?
I ride the area 3-4 times a week as many others do.
Why not just improve the services that exist already? The buses and trains are terrible in Bristol.

Nice video comrades.
Perhaps more of an environmental argument could have been made? I felt more convinced by this argument than the tree being chopped down or sympathy for cyclists, etc.
Also, would a bus lane perhaps not be beneficial in reducing the amount of cars driving around the area? I'm an outside observer but these are things I felt unsure about. Nice to see local campaigns going on, we should do more of this.
By the way was that an Ali G impression at 05:43?
