Love Story meets Viva la Vida // Robin/Marian

PLEASE READ BEFORE ASKING ANY QUESTIONS!!

I did a video similar to this a few months ago, documenting Robin and Marian's relationship. Now that we know *all* of their relationship (thanks to the ending of season 3) here's my second try. I went crazy with the effects again, apologies. I hope it isn't too annoying. But I keep trying new things just cause I can, and then seeing it all put together is like *whoa, that's ugly*. Most of the masking is just terrifying. Again, apologies.

This song is a brilliant mash of Taylor Swift's "Love Story" and Coldplay's "Viva la Vida" done on the piano by Jon Schmidt and the cello is by Steven Sharp Nelson. It's pretty much the most amazing thing since ever. I've been in love with it for a few months now. It's a longer song, which I needed to catalog their full relationship. Even with the long length, though, there were still scenes I couldn't fit!

I'm just terrible at trying to put audio in, so I typed it all up for you guys. I edit my videos with headphones on so my roommate doesn't hate me, and everyone knows it sounds different with headphones than from speakers :p But I hope it's relatively okay to hear. If people want, I might post a version of the vid with none of the dialog added, just the music. Let me know if you want that.

Robin: I did!

Robin: Marian!...Youre looking...striking.

Marian: Five years and you're still peddling the same old drivel?
Robin: You'd be surprised...

Robin: And if you still live with your father, that must mean...
Marian: You're a fool.

Marian: What is it with men and glory? Glory above sense and above reason?
Robin: It is principle-
Marian: Principle is making a difference and you can't do that if you're dead! You could have stayed here in the first place instead of following your king to the Holy Land if you cared so much about your precious people!

Robin: For every man there is a purpose which he sets up in his life. Let yours be the doing of all good deeds.

Robin: Everything is a choice.
Marian: You chose war. You chose glory

Robin: When I was in the Holy Land you must have had suitors.
Marian: I must have?
Robin: It is surprising you are not married.
Marian: It is. And yet when one considers that marriage requires a man, perhaps not. A word of advice: Your charms, such as they are, ceased working on me at least five years ago.

Robin: You were bold andI wish there were more emergencies.
Marian: Is it all a big joke to you?
Robin: Is it all so serious to you!?

Marian: You are an utter fool!
Robin: You said that already.
Marian: Oh you listened? I also told you confronting the Sheriff wouldn't work. You didn't listen then!
Robin: I did not have much choice!
Marian: Oh everything is a choice, everything we do! Grow up!

Marian: I promised to marry him when the King returns.
Robin: Under duress!
Marian: Yes under duress!
Robin: Why do you always do this?
Marian: What?
Robin: Use your father as an excuse for doing nothing! Because without him, you would have to make a choice!

Robin: I never give up...on anyone.
Marian: You may find that it is too late for some

Robin: Are you marrying him?
Marian: I am marrying him.

Marian: We have never once spoken the truth to each other. For instance I call you a fool when I mean you are a hero.

Robin: Marian...I should not have gone...because we should be together! And you were right! I wanted glory!
Marian: You would have always regretted it if you had not gone.
Robin: But not as much as I regret going! Not as much as I regret losing you!

Robin: You dont have to do this!
Marian: Yes I do.
Robin: England needs me?
Marian: Yes! England needs me! England needs us.
Robin: And I need you

Robin: I promised your father I would protect and look after you...will you marry me?

Marian: I love you my husband.
Robin: I love you my wife.

Robin: Robin Hood is finished!
Much: Don't say that!
Robin: He died in the Holy Land! With Marian!

Marian: You keep fighting for me, Robin!
Robin: I can't fight without you! Now all I have left is vengeance

Robin: I've got nothing else to give!
Tuck: You will believe in yourself again!
Robin: I struggled...I fought, I gave everything I had!

Tuck: Do you see the power you have? To give people hope!
Robin: I don't deserve it...What should I do?
Tuck: What would Robin Hood do? Look into your heart, Robin. Youll find the answer.

Robin: We have cheated death so many times...I'm coming, my love. I'm coming.

@redredru Yes, I got SO angry with him for messing with Isabella and Kate. But I realized that he only did that to try and replace Marain, because he couldn't take losing her. None of them were even CLOSE to her though, which is why they are reunited at the end.

I just realised how come when Robin goes off to war and is most likely dead for all Marian knows, she waits for him but when Marian HIS WIFE dies Robin just starts messing around with the first couple of bimbos who'll have him!!
