Installed dozens of headsets this way and have yet not come across any problems. Works just fine if you're careful.

This video should be called How NOT to install a headset. Using a block of wood and a hammer is the quickest way to messing up a headset known to man. Do yourselves a favor and look at some other videos and search the web before following these instructions. There are DIY solutions for installing head sets. You can make a DIY press with a length of threaded rod a couple of nuts and some oversize washers.. But please don't do it this way.

Hey moron look at the title of the video. By the way, I've installed 5 headsets this way and haven't had a problem, but I'd never do it this way, its the wrong way to do it.
