In the 1930s, the German war machine created an amazing STOL aircraft called the Storch. A 3:4 scale version of the aircraft is now available as an LSA or experimental amateur-built plane through U Fly It Sport Aircraft.

  • This is much more interesting and I think a better option than some of the other LSA's. Especially the pricetag. Carbon Cubs are nice, but paying $170,000 isn't.

If I were to get an LSA, this would be it.

  • @jasleil It's been recompiled into the Military Channel. That's all fine and dandy, but their scheduling is just so awful. I'm a warbird enthusiast so it's not so much the subject matter, either. They'll have the same damn show and even the same damn episode on within the space of 2-3 hours. I don't need to see "Follow Marine Recruit #405,002" again 3 hours later.

  • I prefer the Zenith Ch701s myself... same thing, just a stickler for tricycle gear.

  • @AmericanAviator That really sucks. I wonder if Military Channel knows about this.

  • @AmericanAviator Is that channel still there?

  • @jasleil Hell yeah, man. I remember the Discovery wings channel, that was awesome.

  • @hogey74 it's ok. this channel should have a cable channel. totally agree with your thinking.
