I didn't take it apart ^^'
I bought this on ebay thinking it was a legit penprog lol. When I got it I discovered that it was a boot leg. It runs exactly like the d-scanner, except for the scanning part, obviously XD

i see. then, how do you beat enemies during battle if you cant scan? you're pretty much screwed right?

Actually it uses the "pendulum" thing to fight. You have to shake it.
