fuck off with this copyright shit WMG. go fuck yourself. if people buy music, it's theirs to do what they want with. you sell things to people but then don't want them to share it with others. fuck you.
by our stuff, but don't use it. get bent.

Too many pictures of guys mugging at the camera, not enough of trebuchet launches.

Next trebuchet you build should not throw things at the minivan... but throw the minivan itself.

Just imagine people from the middle ages coming in here and seeing what's happening there, and then getting back to the middle ages : " In the future, everybody will have his own personnal warmachine! I saw a group of peasants handling a trebuchet...Without any lord among them! "

thumbs up if you were humming the audio.

You guys should've been more creative using special ammo :D
Anyway, i kinda laughed at the little thing on wheels, you could've made it bigger no problemo.

i know that the right angel for the release pin should be 45 degrees, but in which direction should the pin pointed to? '\' or '/' ?

I made a good enough one for an on the side project while the weather is so great. The counterweight is 287 kilos of waste stone in an old trawler net(strong) I got plans with ratio table etc off a site but when I tested it,it was very off and the slings I use last 6-7 shots max (waiting reply from drtim on material so help not required there). What arm length-counterweight-projectile weight ratio is the best?Note it doesn't have to be dead on,I'm not gonna be overthrowing the local evil baron!)

@obrienj93 I don't think the position of the pivot point in your arm is crucial. The closer you get to the counter weight the better. What makes the difference in launch trajectory is the rope lengths and release mechanism for the sling. Play with the lengths to get the optimal distance.

what did ye use for a sling

@obrienj93 We used a feed bag which normally holds grain. It's light, is very strong and easy to make a pocket shape to hold the rocks.

@drtimstephens Is it the burlap type material or a similar material to coarse nylon ropes.ie old style fertiliser bags?
obrienj93 1 year ago
@obrienj93 It's like a nylon woven bag. I've seen large bags of rice at the grocery store come in the same type of bag. They did wear out after a while but on the farm we had tons and tons of them.
