ST: Canadian Pacific 2317: The Final Cabride 9/4/2010

Jimbo2317 Productions attended the annual "Lackawanna Railfest" @ Steamtown NHS in Scranton Pa on 9/4/2010. There was only one main purpose and goal of this trip: Go for one of the final cabrides in Canadian Pacific G3-C 4-6-2 #2317. This is my favorite engine, thus leading to part of Jimbo's YT user name. This oppertunity could not be missed! This video is of one of those final cab rides on board this beautiful pacific type locomotive.

I'm going to definitely miss this steamer. Saw her how many times the past 6 years. Such a beautiful whistle! I have no doubt in my mind, once 3713 is done, Steamtown will restore 2317.

i feallll your pain! i thought i was going for the same reason i wanted to be there for it,i especially feal bad for you cause its your favorite locomotive.i dont have such a special conection because i never saw her when she was actually on the main line.
