She was not decommissioned. She moved to Pullmater where she still sails today.
I expect the same fate for the Monarch and Majesty in the next 2 years.

I was on her for my first cruise in May 2008. she spoiled my husband and I. Not a single cruise could replace the feeling I had when I was on board the Sovereign of the Seas.

My wife and I of 23 yrs married sailed in Sept 1988 for 1 week of the most enjoyable time of our lives. Of course it was our honeymoon cruise, but need not to say the most incredible experience. Her valiant strength and sea worthyness prevailed that week as she confronted Hurricane Gilbert at sea and kept her cool as she battled 20+ ft seas, wow! So proud of her. Fairwell you "Soverign Lady" of the Seas and may you keep all abord safe as you live on.

Sailed on this majestic ship back in 1989. Wonderful staff then too.. Recognized many faces in the video. Sad to see she was decommissioned.
