"Moldavian Hora" is a traditional jewish dance tune from east europe. The weltmeister accordion is well suited to klezmer with swing tuning and a range of tones
Yes, this piece is played by the Romanians, but was also played by the klezmorim, Jewish musicians living in Eastern Europe until WW2. They probably played it a little bit different though, in a "Jewish style", as well as their hora-dancing probably was a little bit different. Many folk tunes, as well as folk dances, are of course shared by several people, that is inevitable when different cultures live next to each other.
you are wrong, sir,Moldavia is a Romanian region, nothing to do whith israel or jews, and what you played is a traditional romanian music from weddings;)
By the way, congratulations, you played it like a real romanian!!
