The trio Godzilla, and Yellow Gypsy (Hiroshi Kato) doing an instrumantal version of The Rolling Stones song "Tumbling Dice" recorded in 1971, released in '72 on King records, (SKM-1258/9).
The band Godzilla joined guitarist Hiroshi Kato to make a 19 track mostly instrumental album for King records, Japan. On this track Hiroshi Kato plays guitar, Haruo Chikada keyboards, Jun Kanazawa drums, and Alan Merrill bass guitar. Alan Merrill went on to form the glam rockers Vodka Collins, Hiroshi Kato left for England to form the band Stretch, Haruo Chikada joined Yuya Uchida's 1815 Rock N Roll band, and Jun Kanazawa continued on as a popular session drummer. History- Guitarist Hiroshi Kato had just come back to Japan in 1971 from living in Canada.
The short lived trio Godzilla had done a summer residency at the most popular club in Kariuzawa, a resort town in Japan. They had also been touring around the country as a live opening act for the on screen film "Melody Fair," playing to screaming teenybopper fans.
