'The Mason Williams Phonograph Record', with 'Classical Gas', is available on CD. . .i grabbed a copy a while back. . .'Classical Gas' was a big song during my junior-senior years of high school. . .

My freshmen year in college,-wore the 45" Classical Gas" OUT and drove my roomies out of t]heir minds. Lovin the memories.

The Grieg reference at 6:30 is funny because it's a whole step too low--recalling what he said inspired his Smothers Brothers theme; a chord too low that he had to slide up. I would have slid it up to A minor in the middle and dropped it back to G at the end. It would have sounded cool, but everybody isn't as smart as me. ;-)
