  • @retroolschool I just sold this truck to someone in Dayton the other day and bought another one with a detroit diesel

  • why do you think its a 427? most of those old beast came with a 366, and dont say "cuz its a big block" the 366 was a big block

  • @caveman3486

a friend of mine found the casting numbers and looked into it, he said it was a 427.... thats about as best of way to find out short of pulling the heads

  • The 366 trucks were pigs but the old 427's actually did pretty good.

  • I love V8 GAS trucks. So the DIESEL GUYS hate me. Bahhhhh. I hate when morons ask how many MPG these trucks get, like if they pay for the FUEL I spent.

  • Boy I could imagine how this old horse would sound hooked to a 13 speed Road Ranger.....DAYUM!!!!

  • 427 truck block has a tall deck plus heavy pistons with an extra ring

  • right on man!

  • do those damn things ever die? I honestly have yet to see it happen. they can be all tore to hell, but still chuffing along.
