@romangomezsr noob question, how can washing in a car wash damage your paint?
-
An interesting way to see if your paint needs clay bar treatment is to insert your hand into a plastic sandwich bag and run your hand over the just washed paint. If you can feel alot more bumps, then it is clay bar time. It is also fast and easy. I bought a kit with, microfiber towel, claybar, paste wax, pad, and free bottle of 4 oz cleaner wax from Meguires. Xtnt wax too. At Wollyworld (Walmart.)

Great video! Just can't seem to know exactly how to polish though

Hey! Thanks for the video! Bought a new truck about 6 months ago and had a local car wash "wax" and detail the truck. Didn't like their wax job so I figured the best person to do it right would be me! I live in the south so it's not bitter cold but it is getting only into the upper 40's for the high. Is there any special consideration for waxing when it's cold? Thanks!

Hi.. I thought this was a very good vidio. I haven't wax a car in years, and just got a 2008 trip-black pontiac Solstice. I didn't realize all the steps, and particularly the motion of applying the wax. Nice job, and very helpful... Thanks.
