Well, I grew up next to a wind farm and it didn't blight my life. The things only last 25 years and are a vital stopgap measure as we develop alternative energy sources. Whatsmore they tend to pay communities for their presence. Helmer's got a cogent-*sounding* argument here, but wilfully ignores the complex context of the move towards wind and quotes biased and spurious sources. For a citizen to do that would suggest they're a dinosaur. For a political leader it's downright irresponsible.
