  • You have this smug look on your face. Its cool that you like Linux but just because you read some stuff on Ubuntu forums does not make you a smug linux system admin.

  • you friggin troll. You want a reply? here.

Did you ever figure out how to use that start button? Bet you were that little boy that they used for the MS commercial saying that you are a PC. It is bad enough that portalcake625 made that video but you Fav'ed it.

And I have a smug look? It is called facial expressions buddy.

When you decide to make your own video and post it let me know otherwise STFU.

  • @joesboxd3b Be nice to nerds. Chances are, you will be working for them.

  • Linux really is light. My own updated version of DSL runs perfectly on my Pentium 1 100MHz 40MB RAM and 1GB harddisk machine(actyally it run even faster than Micro$oft Window$ 98 that previous owner had installed)

  • What seems to hinder Linux sucess, as in mass desktop adoption, is the fact that we happen to be in a capitalist world full of DRMs, software patents and ignorant people (the majority of computer user) who simply want to use their computer to get work done, period.

  • Don't be a douche. This video was done as a class project. I know Joe personally. He's been a Linux server admin for about 8 years. The video was made for someone who has never used or maybe never even heard of Linux.

Besides that, Linux admins are inherently smug. There's an old saying that goes "If you're not sure how to sound condescending, find a Unix admin to show you how it's done."

I'd bet either one of us could run circles around you in a datacenter. :-)
