Is that command and conquor music? I swear it is...

@bestamerica How many "maus" tanks were built? 0? How it make it the best German tank???!!!
-
"king tiger can destroy any ussr tanks" - Just like IS-2 could destroy any Tiger at any distance.
Point is that Soviet medium tanks could be produced in tens of thousands and could go anywhere at any battlefield. Meanwhile German "wunder"-heavy tanks were braking all the time. Less than 50% of Tigers could reach battlefield without braking on their way. Unreliable can't be named as "the best".

Regardless of some confusion on the ultimate performance of the D-10S, this was an awesome machine, probably in the class of the vaunted Jagdpanther....
OMG they stole C&C Red Alert music!

@R33Racer If music is not copyrighted, then they didn't steel it. If they've paid for it, then they didn't steel it.
Correct expression is "OMG they USE C&C Red Alert music!" :)

Why not just put the 100mm gun on the T-34? What's the point of this turretless tank?
MingGuoLi 1 month ago in playlist More videos from BitnikGr
@MingGuoLi Not all turrets can be upgunned. They have limitations in interior space. For example Pz-IV also couldn't be further upgunner than its later version. Putting bigger gun in same turret reduces elevation and depression angles. Bigger gun is also usually much heavier. 2-3tons of additional weight at 26t vehicle is too much and it will reduce its tactical mobility properties... which were the most important ones in medium tanks of WW II.

@MingGuoLi ...
Point of such vehicles is that they are not actually a tank, but anti-tank artillery pieces placed on tracked chassis. It is a self-propelled artillery, and not a tank. And role of anti-tank artillery is the same in all armies of WW II.
They operate from ambushes in defence. In attack they fire-support tanks, while moving 200-300m behind them. And ISU-152 was used as a successful assault artillery in cities.

Is there a documentary for ISU-152 the beast killer?
bombarderoazul 2 months ago
@bombarderoazul No. :(
There is an episode about ISU-152 in another documentary series. Not in this one.
