Most comedy, especially the ones that provide social commentary, are usually offensive. It resonates with people quicker, and easier, when it is over the top. Most people know the clicks and clacks are not Ethiopian, and isn't the video for people that do not.

To clear up misconceptions:

1. The "Ethiopian" language in question is, of course, not Ethiopian. In fact, the language being parodied would be closer to the Xhosa language of South Africa which is rather distinctive for having a prominence of click consonants. Our assigning this language to the wrong country is simply called parody because many people outside of Africa have no idea of the wide variety of languages used there.

2. Mistaking this for a linguistics lesson was quite silly.

I think this video is allright, just abit to long, if you ask me. But I think I got the message and that's the main point..... but honestly, after reading the comments right below mine, I would also be offended if you would imitate a german accent... but that's the way it goes, there weilla llways be a fer people offended by the thing your saying and doing.. but this shows that your on the right track.... ;)

You think it's only these clowns? Look at Southpark and all these other crappy shows. I love America okay I've been raised here. But the people are so culturally ignorant. And I'm not just talking about white people either.
