Dominic Piers Smith plays Chopin's Ballade No 4 in Cadogan Hall, London to win both the classical prize and audience favourite award in the 2007 Yamaha Pianists Competition
absolutely brilliant performance i love your voicing especially in the left hand. also great to see someone who can play chopin and debussy. i am preparing schuman's fantasiestucke op12 no 2 and debussy prelude book 1 no 9 la serenade interrompue for a competition this year. I have been playing classical since I was three years old and have only played one other debussy prelude and have fallen in love with his work lately
You have the most wonderful touch!
I listened to your Debussy as well. Breathtaking, quite literally.
Can't wait to hear more!
