Here is something I wanted to do since a long time ago, I couldn't do it before because of my CPU. I started to work on it on november 6 (10 years after getting my first F-Zero X cartridge) but all that footage was record last year to show people my first F-Zero X custom track entire set. Now that my CPU is a bit better and before sharing my PXB2 videos I decided to finally use that old footage to create that F-zero PXB trailer.

The video has 3 different parts, one was meant to show the design of the tracks with different views from the expansion kit track editor.
The second part was by far the hardest to create because I choosed to use several cameras codes to be unusual and innovative so I had to drive with those strange views, not easy on some !
The last part is just something like the best from all the PXB video I shared on youtube.

About the montage I have to say that my CPU is REALLY not powerfull enougth to get what I want, I couldn' t synchronise everything like I wanted to and that's a big problem.

Anyway it could be better, I should pass more time on it, record better footage ... but I hope you'll like it.

Thanks a lot to Fzeroman for his awesome work to find codes on F-Zero X, the cameras codes are just a few of them !

  • There seems to be a problem with your joker cup, it's not playable on an emulator...

  • Strange, I did change the name of the last track in the last update of custom tracks i shared and I did test the entire rom and it does work on emu and on console for me, I check that again tonight ...

  • I'm wondering... what does PXB stand for?

  • The first ever F-Zero X custom track pack was DXP, D and P means Dave Phaneuf, the guy who created it, PXB was the second pack, the same way, P and B means my name, Philippe Brodier .

  • It would look better if it was PBX. Don't you think?

  • I don't know, I wanted to use the same thing that Dave used, anyway it's too late to change that name now.
