  • What traffic addon do you have?

  • I use Traffic X. It's great as I can substitute military fighter jets for airliners and let Traffic X fly the military jets according to Traffic X's flight plans. So it is pretty amazing sight to see military traffic alongside commercial airliners landing and taking off at the same civilian or military airports.

    Only thing missing is that Traffic X cant fly helicopters.

  • It is far more interesting to see the things go wrong when landing and see if I can recover from bad landings.

  • Good landings are well..pretty boring. I normally land my C-5 Galaxy (which is one of the heaviest planes) with all engines shut down taking a steep descent and quickly pulling up the elevator at altitudes just above the ground which slows down the place very fast.

  • I have a few questions! 1st: Was there a signal, when you pulled out the flaps on 30, that you didn´t brought down the gear? Second:Why did you brought the gear so late? Third: Have you ever heard something like "Go-around". Fourth: Why didn´t you use the spoilers at the first touchdown? Poor passengers!

  • @WorldTravelDude Just came in a little too hot, plus you need more flare and less sink rate, best way to ensure a good landing is a stablized approach. Typical untrained mistake is to push the nose down to land but you want to do the opposite power off at the fence arrest the sink rate, about 3 degrees nose up and hold it until the mains touch, settle the nose then reverse.

  • Your flaps are to High for takeoff need to be 45%
