If you're looking to increase your distance on tomahawks, search "Tomahawk for distance" and find my video (third one down probably). I regularly tomahawk over 400 feet and I share some simple things that should increase your distance.

I use the Thumber for about 98.9% of my shots, the rest are backhand approach and your basic putts. I use to mainly drive forearm but decided to give thumbing a shot and LOVE iT! I use to throw around 10-11 o clock and they would all finish at 12 or 1ish but now all my shots are dead straight, sometimes finishing a little to the right. I've noticed I can get it out there just as far with a lower shot vs launching it high in the air IE: there is overhead and gotta go under.

@timdogheenan , lame cheaters keep giving me the thumbs down, if your playing for money I would be calling it all day.

If your going to throw the shot and are a PRO like Monty Koz, you better make sure you have legal footing. Your foot has to be behind your mini, not to the side, or even touching it, directly behind the center of your mini. If you are giving me a negative vote you must have to cheat to win.

Great vid. I usually only use a tomahawk when i'm deep in the woods (which happens quite often lol), but it works pretty well. You have to throw it hard as hell (or at least i do)

Loved the video! My friend introduced me to this as a trick shot and I use it in place of my back hand shot which is really, really bad. Since then, and now knowing the different angles of release of either shot I will really start to turn up the heat. Something about the backhand that I have trouble with but that does not mean I am going to eliminate it from my game. Thanks or the tips and I like the blue hair guy!! Hooyah!
i wreck throwing tomahawks, my max dis is prob 330/50' i would tell some body who want a really good disc for over head shot get either innovas champ firebird, or discrafts zflick/ and or the pulse amazing pinpoint accuracy

anywho, on normal drives, high drives, low altitude drives...they all go straight as heck, I'm not complaining but rather looking for insight as to why this is happening (I like it) am I getting more spin on it at launch? did my angle change? could it be my wrist flicking down in conjuction with my arm whipping it out? any thoughts much appreciated
