What NOT to do while chasing a train.

poeple are so fixated on the engine they dont pay attention to the road.
I dont blame them. But for me, I'll stick with standing in one spot and then going to the next one thank you.

What spin out? Evil!

Looks to me like they were going fast, have a good time, and did a drift turn toward a driveway/road. Look a the video a few seconds before...you can see it. I would say that it's possible either way, but if they wanted to do a drift type turn, going wide, then spinning kinda like they did. But can't really tell from the small video if it was truly executed correctly (as I was taught in professional driving school).

Dude those three silver cars in the middle of the train I shot video of those on a rare one time only passenger train running on a freight only line in the Feather River Canyon in California shortly after you shot this vid. I also shot some of those dome cars on the back of Amtrak's Coast Starlight train as it detoured over the famous Tehachapi Loop; a freight only line. I also shot that Hiawatha car in the Nevada desert on the Californai Zephyr when my Amtrak engineer friend was driving it.

There was an original painting of one of the old Daylight trains in the San Jose station I remember from the early 1960's. Does anyone know where this is now or is it still there?

Quite impressive!
thanks.

Those cars, are not made to run at high speed on dirt roads ... for that... buy a AWD Subaru ;)
