Super Mario Land Speedrun (13:01)

A fairly good run that just missed out on the sub (I did have my fair share of luck in the bonus levels, though). I cut various portions of the game for obvious reasons. The exact time of the run was 13:01.30 if you must know.

I now have a time of 12:58.03 thus demoting this run from its former unofficial world record status.

@JogglingBean The time with cutscenes is as displayed i.e. 13:01. The video to which you refer uses many inferior strategies and is consequently much slower than this run.

you must've eaten a lot of frustration to become elite.... imo mario land 1 was so so much harder than mario land 2. cuz it was unforgiving
