I experimented with mixing white and black for greywash when I first started (and didnt know any better) I guess its an artists preference but I think it looks like shit to do it that way... Its not greywash

Sorry, but I think his "instructions" are poor. For one, "graywash" refers to shades of diluted black, created by mixing Witch Hazel (my preference, antiseptic) or distilled water with it. This produces the effect of graphite pencil shades. He's just mixing them and it should've been a blend with colors - example: Dark violet to red to pink to flesh - instead of black which we normally graywash. Also, his outline is way too thick and cartoony. Just my opinions.

this is not greywashing. this is just mixing colors to make a grey color ha ha. you make grey wash by diluting black with diluted water, witch hazel or sometimes even by green soap.
