Ireland has long had a history of emigration in times of hardship. But in recent years, that was reversed. As economic growth took off, many Irish emigrants and their descendants moved back to the Emerald Isle and the country witnessed a previously unimaginable wave of immigration. Now that's changing once again, with the global economic meltdown hitting Ireland hard. The Celtic Tiger is dead, forcing the Irish once again to turn to pastures new.
