    Lol a video that says the truth to the "new generation" of gamers.

    No wonder it's getting such a hate.

    Ofcourse any old school PC gamers,which remember what true skill based games use to be(quake,tribes,star craft and so on)would absolutely agree with the points made in this video.

    Story, ambiance, and theming are complements. They can help establish why the game is happening the way it is. The part that is absolutely important is the gameplay that is being supported by said complements. Even a "story game" like Mass Effect is centered around the idea of choice which is seen in the gameplay via the dialogue wheel. Sure, the story makes the choices more interesting and compelling, but the wheel itself that can allow branched scenarios is what makes it a good game.
