@ mistresspav:
To be clear, I don't believe this either.
But you've been made into too politically correct a person to have beliefs.
If he believes it, he should absolutely answer the question with yes.

@djfingersflores They have weighed a body of a dying man that was on a scale, they noticed that when he died he weighed .6 lbs less. The soul escaped the body at that moment.

@Golgothacross Kabbalah is a very ancient knowledge of how this universe functions. Abraham is cosidered one of the first to reveal this knowledge, even though it did exist before him. It was later encrypted in the Old Testament to which the book of the Zohar provides the key.
Kabbalists claim to show us the laws of the whole universe, so even if historically speaking it is linked to Judaism, it belongs to, and can be applied by all of mankind.

when you die, you die. The Torah clearly tells us this. The spirit (G-d's breath) leaves us and goes back to Him. and our body goes back to where it belongs.

I wonder who I was in a past life? :)

what a whole load of horse shit, just like religion. No proof.

so... what i want to know is what the Kabbalah is the basis of. I am doing some research right now and i'm looking through connections to Judaism. Is the Kabbalah a part of Judaism? is it part of a Rabbi's education? i'm sorry if this is a stupid question but i am quite interested in this. any insight would be wonderful. Thanx
prove it!.. let's see some real evidence.. it always amazes me how people will believe anything someone says without proof.

CONT:
IMO he should answer the question by saying "in Kaballah is believed that" and not "yes". and i believe this to be valid for any other questions of the kind and their multitude of schools that provide "the answers".
bottom line: I don't know it either - I might be awfully wrong but these are my views on the matter - who knows?
