the difference here was they are professionals who actually care and put effort into what they do. hollywood today seems more like a production line, shit in, shit out.

Man it really is baffling the incredible effort that was put in on like every dang level in this movie. I've see people post what I totally agree with in these series of videos, which is so many movies these days are just 'pumped' out as cheap as possible to pull off making money, and it ends up becoming a trend. From Aliens 3 to 4, that same 'trend' can be seen slowly evolving into the series, and damaging quality. I still like 3 and 4, but they imo are very far from what they should be.

@KaitainCPS If you watch this video it explains that phrase was just the result of what the design guy thought based on the script - he clearly didn't understand.

@asshole4good I took it just to mean are they going to face us or hide in tunnels and holes in the ground (a la viet cong). I don't think it was a reference to the type of alien involved. They clearly have never dealt with anything like what they found when they got there.
