I think it's the disconnected power steering pump. I'm looking into it...car runs fine though, tranny shifts beautifully.

ya i dont think it is a steering pump i have the same year and not all of them had power steering lol and that does not sownd good

Man Sweet car.. my dad just gave me a 87 honda prelude 2nd gen all it needs is a carb. i went to autozone how much it would be for a new one $599.00 :O

i asked the guy why so much he said bcus its sucha rare car :) my prelude has brand new interior just got it upholstered and the body is in perfect condition it even has the original hubcaps

2nd gen prelude is a cool car.  and for some bizarre reason, it has a better drivers' safety rating than 3rd gen (2nd is 4 star, 3rd is 1 star)

i got a 1985 honda prelude, i bought it for $ 2900 aussie dollars, its way neat than this, but its not about the first stage, its about the final stage, im look at putting on 2 double barrel carbies on it, i can get mine to about 190km'h atm, with nothing on it, and my carbies are screw'd lol!!!, anyway nice find, 2nd gen ludes r rare. welcome to the club
