So I have a macbook pro (non unibody, but has dvi and mini dvi port)... Do you still think the best option for me to hook up to a hdtv is to get that mini dvi to hdmi adapter? Any better suggestions for the audio to tv?

@mazzter744 Yeah I noticed that too. I've never heard anyone refer to VGA as an "RGB port".

@jim1621 yes, they do support Audio out over mini DP, and Griffin confirmed that the adapter supports that.
