Reviving the 86' Lowrider S-10 Project

Once upon a time this little truck was my commuter vehicle/grocery getter/toy, and now its been reduced to a lawn ornament...... Ive finally gotten the motivation to put it back into commission and i'll be keeping you updated on the progress

muffler floors ebrake and i dont know what else till i try to get it saftied. im only 15 so i got half a year till i can drive.  i love these trucks though my dad had an 85 king cab long box. thats why i wanted to get one in the first place

@croom9 ya thats y i got it i didnt want to much to do to get it running... and ya parts are so cheap for them that its crazy i only paid 500 canadian for it in the first place so i got a good deal

@croom9 its got a 2.5 l4 5 speed manual in it but im looking itto either getting a 2.8 or a 4.3 for it but for now im gonna keep the l4 untill it blows

@GMCs15lover really? thats what the truck i took my manual tranny out of had, thats a tough little motor i beat the piss out of it playing around before i took the thing apart, my truck has the 2.8, the trannys are the same but the bolt pattern on the crank is different for the flywheels, it never dawned on me till i tried to put the trans in.

@GMCs15lover thanks its too bad the clearcoat is missing off most of the hood, and the roof, the rest should buff up pretty good though, what all does yours need?

ur truck is really nice i got an 87 sonoma and its way worse than yours i like the paint job it looks cool
