This was my favorite moment of the entire show, as Richard Patrick performs the scorching "Dose" (one of the two greatest anti-fundamentalist songs of all time, the other one being "Welcome to the Fold"). It was like watching Lennon onstage during his raw "primal scream" era. Richard has one of the great rock werewolf howls, and its in top form in this clip. I was trying to keep the camera as steady as possible, but often found myself being stunned by the almost transcendent, trancelike power of this performance, which was like watching Lennon on a particularly brilliant night during his "primal scream" era, and so I had to keep reminding myself to pay attention to the camera. At the very end, you can hear me yell out "YEAH!!!" as I finally let the adrenaline rush out that I had been holding in for five minutes (and as I knew that Id just filmed something REALLY cool and special with this song in particular).
