Maine's Smart Meter Safety Coalition (www.smartmetersafety.org) recently caught up with Dr. David Carpenter, a Harvard Medical School-trained physician who headed up the New York State Dept. of Public Health for 18 years before becoming Dean of the School of Public Health at the University of Albany, where he currently directs the Institute for Health and the Environment.

In Australia, we are stuck with no civil rights to refuse the installation of WiFi Smart Meters!

What is going on? PGE is an EXTORTIONER!! I received a letter that stated they would be at my home to install the meter. I called & they said "No choice; this is our New Meters and every house is getting one". Now we find out that these companies LIED and that they had to give us a choice but now PGE tells me that I HAVE TO PAY... I MEAN, I HAVE TO PAY FOR SOMEONE TO REMOVE IT FROM MY HOUSE WHEN THEY installed IT AGAINST MY WILL! SIT IN TIME with signs that say "WE WILL LEAVE WHEN YOU PAY US"
