I don't usually post comments on Youtube, but when I do, its to yell at fucktards who can't play engineer right.
Yes, a lot of those are great spots, but for starters, you missed a fuckton of better spots. The engineers main weapon is NOT the teleporter, it is the sentry gun. It is the main reason people play engi.
Several of the places you placed your sentry are blocked by a dispenser, limiting the sentry's range of attack. Not to mention many places you placed you sentry have blind spots

You're decent with placing sentries but you need to work on dispenser placement. several of those you block your sentry.

@Keyboard858 true; putting it there makes it a prime target to snipers, soldiers, heavies, basically anyone who can do massive damage while staying out of range. It serves no stratiegic purpose, and it can only defend the bridge leading to the tunnel leading to the one way door and the tunnel it is stationed upon. By the time it becomes any use, it would have been probably destroyed.

@anteskoog teleporting your team to the front line
i would say that many of these spots ar kinda bad, and if our blu, why even go engi?

The idea behind a level 3 sentry gun isn't kills, it's area denial. The very knowledge that a sentry can shoot you if you go to a control point/cart will keep players away, because no one wants to die for their team. So, while an engineer on defense can turtle away for an hour and keep watching out for spies, an offensive engineer can keep pushing the defense back all the way to their point.

It also defends the TELEPORTER that you should have up, the engineer's main weapon. It moves teammates up to the front lines instantaneously, helps them defend your sentry and ultimately leads your team to victory.

At :56 that's the worst spot. I've never seen anyone build there.

Remember, I'm on Blu at the time. It's defense so that your crappy team won't get owned by pyros. :D

One problem... snipers?

I'm on BLU. If you realized that, well, snipers shouldn't be a problem, and if they are, go shotgun 'em?
